When the last cup is served and the queue disappears,
the event doesn’t end for us.
This is closing time — the part no one sees, no one photographs, and rarely talks about.
But it’s where the day truly settles.
When the Crowd Leaves
The music fades.
The chatter softens.
The venue slowly empties.
Our machines are still warm.
Cups half-stacked.
Milk jugs rinsed and placed aside.
There’s a quiet pause —
a shared look between the team that says,
“Okay… we made it.”
Packing Down, Piece by Piece
Closing time is heavy. Literally.
Hoses disconnected.
Machines wiped and drained.
Grinders emptied.
Bins tied, boxes flattened, ice melted away.
Every piece goes back into its case.
Every cable is coiled properly.
Because tomorrow, we’ll do it all again — somewhere else.

“That latte art one damn nice.”
“My legs gone already.”
